Executive Assistant

Job Description

  • Provide professional interpretation / translation services for General Manager and or/ other individuals for meetings, interviews, telephone calls, documents etc., including one to one and group settings.
  • Manage General Manager’s electronic diary, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as
  • Manage General Manager’s travel arrangements (including visas/accommodation).
  • Assist General Manager in researching and following up with action on matters which fall within the General Manager’s responsibility – chasing responses, triggering follow-up action.
  • Review translated material for accuracy of meaning, grammar and syntax.
  • Assists with Administration tasks related to interpretation or translation assignments as requested
  • Manage and maintain the management’s diary and email account as much as possible
  • Ensure busy diary commitments, papers and travel arrangements are managed effectively including producing a daily folder with diary, necessary papers etc. and troubleshooting problems
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements in connection with others and ensure arrangements in place for the management match his/her requirements
  • Filter general information, queries, phone calls and invitations to the management by redirecting or taking forward such contact as appropriate
  • Keep and maintain an accurate record of papers and electronic correspondence on behalf of the management
  • Minute general meetings as required and complete research on behalf of the management
  • Provide and ensure guests meeting with the management are well taken care of
  • Other tasks assigned by management

Requirement

  • A minimum of Bachelor Degree in related field
  • Good command of Chinese and/or English is a plus
  • A minimum of 3 years translation/secretarial experience with private company
  • Shorthand and excellent typing skills, speed and accuracy essential
