“There are so many good things of derivatives market. Even being narrowed down, it still provides great benefits in the form of job opportunities, investment opportunities and choices, the rush of foreign direct investment, and the growth in national revenue through taxes,” said H.E. Mr. Sou Socheat.

Being a distinguish delegate of the roadshow in numerous provinces, H.E. Mr. Sok Dara, Deputy Director General of SECC, expressed his pleasure at collaborating with CDX and achieving such proud results. He also suggested that SECC would not stop there and would build on the achievements.

“Educating and fulfilling the thirst for investment knowledge of the public is key to the sustainability of derivatives market. As the regulator, SECC is committed to carrying on its missions to further developed with order, transparency, and efficiency” said H.E. Mr. Sok Dara.

No one should be happier than Mr. Lawrence Kook, Director of CDX, as he was the only speaker to have presence and make impacts in every single stop of the roadshow, realizing his dreams in promoting derivatives market and enriching the quality of derivatives-related education even at the farthest provinces.

“I cannot be more excited as we have fruitfully finished this long beautiful journey, the journey that anyone would dream of. Thus, I would like to thank SECC and the provincial halls for the special guidance and cooperation,” Lawrence enthused.

The increase in regulation awareness and investment know-how would put those thousands of participants in a better position to invest in derivative products for their personal financial growth and as a contribution to the national economic development. In the meantime, it indicates that the derivatives market is in safe hands and will continue to spark towards an even more promising future.

“Helping thousands of people to better understand derivatives market and equipping them with the necessary skills to invest in derivatives are instrumental. As the trailblazer of the Cambodia derivatives market as well as a global derivatives ambassador, we are proud to continue contributing directly to its welfare and to indirectly add pace to the development of Cambodia’s other sectors. We are also enhancing our root internationally, primarily through various large-scale exhibitions. I think everything is perfectly on the right track,” Lawrence added.
