On April 01, 2022, Cambodian Derivatives Exchange (CDX) participated in the “Non-Farm Payrolls Night and Trading Competition” organized by our leading derivative broker Golden FX Link Capital (G-Link), where CDX could join all special moments, share pieces of financial literacy, and congratulate the top-5 trading winners granted the total price of $3,000 dollars.
The event was held at Goldwell Cafe in Golden Tower, Phnom Penh, and all participants enjoyed numerous benefits from this event’s sessions as well as their own active involvement.
Mr. Lawrence Kook, Director and Chief Executive Officer of CDX, joined the event and underscored important aspects of why Non-Farm Payrolls—the measure of the number of workers in the United States excluding farm workers and workers in a handful of other job classifications—was a major economic data utilized as a key indicator by derivatives investors and traders in order to seize profitable trading opportunities.
He also added that the “Trading Competition” created by G-Link could stimulate all participants especially the contestants to learn, analyze, and practise their fundamental and technical skills in derivatives trading. It is really useful for their real future trading.
In addition, the event also provided a great opportunity for participants to interact with one another while enjoying delicious foods and beverages at the same time. Overall, the event was a huge success.
