Cambodian Derivatives Exchange Co., Ltd. (“CDX”) has participated in a seminar held by Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association (“CVEA”), CDX’s newly signed partner in response to a strong drive for spurring the nationwide investment development in Cambodia. Honored by the presence of many professionals and investors mainly from real estate and financial sectors, the seminar took place on September 25, 2018 at Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center.
Mr. Lawrence Kook, Director of CDX, was invited to be a guest speaker at the seminar in order for him to share his extensive experience and perspectives on both local and international investment. During his speech, Mr. Lawrence emphasized the gradual expansion of investment in Cambodia as he noticed before proceeding with the highlights and trends of investment strategies employed by investors around the world. Taking risk management and returns on investment into consideration, he urged all investors to diversify their investment portfolio so that they could effectively mitigate risks while protecting their capitals and not reliant upon a single source for income. These will in turn enable investors to have more choices and invest with peace of mind.
Mr. Lawrence also thanked CVEA for inviting him to be the speaker as well as for the MOU signing, giving both parties the means to collaboratively kick-off forwarding the public enrichment of the investment education across Cambodia’s entire territory. Numerous expectations of cooperation between CDX and CVEA in providing more frequent access to erudite forums, seminars, and workshops arose.
CDX’s participation in the seminar unreservedly fulfilled its commitment to the MOU and surely strengthened the relation between both institutions, which indicates the dawn of the new, bright future of Cambodia’s investment sector in general.
